The audiometer is already in the headset.
easyTone integrates IEC 60645-1 Type 4 and ANSI/ASA S3.6 Type 4 audiometer technology into its sound-attenuating circumaural headset. Calibration is stored within the headset, creating a portable system controlled through the tablet.
Integrated calibration
Calibration is stored within the headset, simplifying setup and device management.
Ambient-noise Monitoring
A built-in microphone helps the operator assess whether room-noise requirements are being met.
Pure and warble tones
Perform portable pure-tone and warble-tone audiometry.
Screening and threshold testing
Use rapid pass/refer screening or determine individual hearing thresholds when more detailed results are required.
Reduce workload while keeping testing consistent.
The automatic self-test guides the subject through the test with clear on-screen instructions while allowing the operator to monitor progress. Results are recorded automatically, helping reduce operator variability and allowing one screener to oversee multiple easyTone devices in high-volume programs.

What U.S. buyers should know.
What frequencies and hearing levels can easyTone test?
easyTone supports test frequencies from 125 to 8000 Hz, a hearing-level range from -10 to 100 dB HL and 5 dB level steps.
Which computers support the companion software?
The current MAICO datasheet specifies Windows 11 64-bit and macOS Monterey, with a minimum display resolution of 1280 × 960.
Does room-noise monitoring replace a quiet test environment?
No. The built-in microphone measures ambient noise and helps the operator assess the test environment, but appropriate screening conditions and applicable test guidelines still need to be followed.
